Dr. Marizelle, i’ve been looking at some of the plants we call antiparasitic and reframing them. Because I don't think there is anti in nature, so perhaps they are supporting the body in another way and then we think they killed the parasite because we thought the parasite was the problem, when actually both plant and “parasite" were addressing the same issue. For example, in nature wormwood bioremediates heavy metals in the soil. So is it possible wormwood is not killing anything but just reducing the need for the parasites to be in active duty?

Correct! I just used wormwood as a comical reference. You are very correct!✅

While I have your attention I would love to run one more thing by you. While I don't believe any plants are antibacterial, and while I use and appreciate essential oils, I get an unsettled feeling about people using them undiluted. So, my point being, if you use clove (or any other hot oil) in a way or amount that runs counter to natural order you could be doing damage to yourself, and more importantly you microcosm. In other words clove oil could be used to actually kill your helpers because of how pontensized it is?

I agree some oils can be damaging especially because it’s a concentrated form of something a person wouldn’t normally come in contact with. I wouldn’t be concerned with it killing your microbiome (microzymas just go dormant) so much as it irritating and/or damaging the tissue it’s applied to, causing scarring. Scars are not so good.

Thank you! It’s so funny to me (ha ha) how health fads just pop up out of nowhere, this being the most recent example. Suddenly all my friends and clients are complaining about their parasites, cancer is a parasite, on and on. What you’re saying about parasites is much akin to the microbiome: they’re angels in disguise.

I love that, “angels in disguise”

The microbiota, for sure. The parasites? That might take a little getting used to. 🪱

Great points here. They found in fish that parasites sequester mercury so that the rest of their bodies can function well.

BTW, can you do an article on Lupus? I have a friend that won't listen or read anything unless it's specifically about that.

We know that it's just a diagnosis name that has many other names like CFS etc but she's not understanding that and is convinced about the magic word Lupus.
